Today we had some classes and then a sort of scavenger hunt. We all walked to Scandicci and got a drink at Marios. We then had a Toast on the Piazza in the wonderful weather before getting some group pictures walking through the arched entry of the building on the main piazza. We then were all given a specific object written in Italian to go find and buy at the market. I was given a "Plastic Bucket" to find. Only cost 2 Euros! then me and Sara did some shopping. I picked up 2 thin sweaters and she picked up a pair of jeans. We also got Hamburgers at a small stand (which were really good!) I got mine with grilled peppers. The burger was good because it was fresher than American food! not some patty they threw on the grill! After that Sara went to get a haircut so I walked around for an hour and a half exploring the small back streets of Scandicci that most people never see. It really gave insight into how Italians or people in that area live there day. after that me and Sara came back and did some homework and relaxed until that evening. That evening Everyone went out to eat, and Kyle came with a few of us to go to La Bottega to get Piadina (sandwich in a thin bread/shell thing, I had chicken with peppers and 4 cheese spread, salsa.... pretty much amazing!) It was a good relaxing day!
