thurs.
visit Agrigento Archeological site which houses a huge collection of ancient Greek and Etruscan objects, Mostly vases. T Hey had many fantastic pieces some I've seen before in books... but over all it was not the most exciting museum or tour we have been on. But it was interesting.
After that visit we all decided to head to the BEACH! this time we went to a sandy beach and I got in and wet and enjoyed myself! Even built a sand Castle! (which I'm not sure if I have a picture of...) We then headed back tot the hotel got changed and cleaned up before heading to the valley of the temples. WE got to walk around many fabulous temples and ruins of temples before stopping at the temple of Concordia. It is the best preserved temple and looks amazing for how long it has stood on that spot. The interesting thing however is that we actually got to go inside of it because of a modern art exhibit being placed around it to help pay for some restoration of other temples. This is only the 2nd time people have been able to go up into the temple and it was fantastic to be able to real see and be in the temple itself... though the pieces of art inside of it were a bit strange and out of place... but over all it was a great day! one of my best most memorable days!
after that and seeing the sunset again on these beautiful structures we went back to the hotel for dinner. This time we had very good pasta. And then for the second course we had fish. And I have no idea what kind it was but it was a full fish with skin and head all in place. So I skinned it and took meat off around the bones... it was alright... once again not my favorite meal... but not terrible. We also had fun conversations and ended up telling how me and Sara met like a zillion times... but it was fun! And continued the Phase 10 game we started the night before before heading to bed!
